Dan Crenshaw, a combat veteran with no political experience, became a Congressman with the help of Houston Radio Czar Michael Berry. The field to replace retiring legend Ted Poe was large but the disabled veteran Crenshaw rose to the top with the help of Berry and Marcus Luttrell whose recent movie, Lone Survivor, raised the awareness of the viciousness of the war in Afghanistan.
Crenshaw achieved Congressional fame quickly and became a young rising star in the Republican Party. But surprisingly quickly his true colors came out as he turned his back on Trump and voted with the Democrats to certify the stolen election. He mocked a constituent who referenced the stolen 2020 Presidential Election. He called the conservative Congressional Freedom Caucus, of which our own Congressman Randy Weber is a member, “grifters” who “tell lie after lie after lie.”
He voted to remove Confederate Monuments. He voted for Red Flag Laws. And just a week or so ago, he snapped at a 10-year-old girl who asked him about his own words, “We have societal hero archetypes that we look up to. Jesus is a hero archetype, Superman is a hero archetype. Real characters too, you know, I could name a thousand. Rosa Parks, Ronald Reagan, all of these people embody certain attributes that the American people think, ‘This is good.’”
You must really think you’re something – or you’re angry you got caught – to snap at a 10-year-old girl who questions if you think Jesus is simply a character rather than the Son of God.
Running as a Combat Veteran is very popular now. Americans appreciate our Veterans and they normally make strong leaders and are principled. But voters need to be aware of the company they keep. Just like Crenshaw, Patrick Gurski, is supported by Democrats. Crenshaw was endorsed and funded by leftists Bloomberg and Bezos in their “With Honor” PAC.
Gurski is supported by Democrat and Former Democrat Speaker of the House Pro Temp Craig Eiland.
Neither Crenshaw nor Gurski are Trump fans. Crenshaw’s betrayal of Trump got him ignored at the Trump Rally in Montgomery County. While the President mentioned many Texas Republicans who attended the rally, Crenshaw was duly ignored.
Talk about a grifter – going to a Trump rally to get recognized by Trump while despising him.
And like Crenshaw, Gurski despises Trump. In fact, he believes he is a “ludicrous bigot.”

Michael Berry has since distanced himself from Crenshaw calling him one of his biggest disappointments. Crenshaw didn’t have Democrats supporting him that we knew of when he ran, but he has since become beholden to the left while working the right to get elected. Voters in HD 23 need to be aware that the “combat veteran” Gurski is being openly supported by Democrats and thinks President Trump, one of our most successful Republican Presidents, is a “ludicrous bigot”. Just as the voters in CD2 have a choice not to be fooled again, HD23 needs to wake up and not be fooled in the first place!
